Update on Logto Cloud pricing: Add-ons start charging

Since launching the Pro plan, we’ve been refining our pricing strategy to provide the best value for our users. Currently, all add-on features are free to use with the base price of $16. With the new add-on pricing model now finalized, we wanted to give you a heads-up that these changes will take effect moving forward:

• The exhaustive pricing model will take effect immediately for all new users who subscribe to the Pro plan starting August 9, 2024, 00:00 UTC.
• For existing Pro plan users, we appreciate your support and want to help you prepare for the new add-on management. To give you time to adjust, we’re offering a one-month window before the updated pricing applies. The new pricing will take effect at your next renewal on or after September 1, 2024, 00:00 UTC.

Recap of our Pro plan add-on pricing details

Let’s review our add-on features and how they will appear on your bills. You can also find the exhaustive list on our pricing page.

1. All non-add-on features will remain unchanged. This change only affects the add-on features in the Pro plan, which will now incur charges.
2. Included tokens: The Pro plan includes the first one million tokens. If you need more, additional tokens will be available at $80 per million tokens.
3. Machine-to-machine apps: One machine-to-machine app is included in the Pro plan. Additional apps can be added for $8 each per month.
4. API resources: Three API resources are included. You can add more for $4 each per month.
5. Enterprise SSO: Available for $48 each per month.
6. Multi-factor authentication: Available for $48 per month.
7. Organization: For a one-time fee of $48 per month, you’ll get unlimited organizations, users per organization, and organization permissions and roles.
8. Tenant members: The Pro plan includes 3 tenant members. Additional members can be added for $8 each per month.

Let’s simplify things and look at the impacts based on your user group, what you need to care about, and some recommended action items.

1. For Pro plan users: Please make sure to delete any unwanted resources or setups in your Pro plan.
2. For Free plan users: There is no impact. If you switch to the Pro plan in the future, your bill and charges will be updated accordingly.
3. For development tenant users: There is no impact. If you switch to the Pro plan in your production tenant in the future, your bill and charges will be updated accordingly.

Coming soon features and Enterprise plan

As we finalize our Pro plan pricing, we’ll be adding more valuable features to enhance your experience with Logto. For instance, bring your own UI, personal access tokens, account center UI, and more. Check out our roadmap to see what’s coming next.
